The student must write their own research paper on the following ethical case from the perspective of a law enforcement scandal. The paper should be 5-6 pages in length and STRICTLY adhere to APA7 writing standards which include a cover page, abstract, well developed sections, and references.

Case to research:
The student will research the sorted ethical lapses involving the Chicago Police Department. Examine the pattern of cases stemming from its inception to the recent firing of the Chief of Police and the scathing DOJ report. What has led then to where they are today and what can be done to rectify the problem? Compare and contrast the problem in Chicago with the concerns in other large cities like Newark.
