GUIDELINES FOR READING REFLECTION PAPER

Reading reflection papers will address the following prompts and can incorporate your personal reflections and opinions on the chapter/s you have chosen. Please choose ONE of the following chapters: Chapter 8: Gender OR Chapter 9: Race.

Reading reflection papers should be double-spaced, 2-3 pages, 12- point font (Times New Roman or Cambria) in response to your chosen weeks readings. I will have a sample memo posted. Just keep in mind the student example paper I post will be from a senior undergrad and yours does not necessarily need the same level of analysis, but the more the better. The material they wrote about was for a completely different class. This example paper is just to show you the structure and internal citations that I expect. The sample paper is not topically related to this class at all.

These papers will be submitted D2L. The drop box submission link will say- Reading reflection paper assignment and SUBMISSION link. If you quote, please use proper citations. If you paraphrase, please include an indirect citation (cite your source i.e. Conley, 2020). No bibliography needed if you use only the book materials. No outside resources are needed. Even though I want you to answer each prompt, I still want you to structure it in a cohesive essay format, including an intro and thesis statement, body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
