The purpose of the art visits is two-fold: to explore the various different contexts in which art can be presented, and then to analyse how you experience an artwork within this context.

In a short essay of no more than 500 words, please:

Consider how it is funded – does this affect the way the art is presented?

Select an artwork and provide a brief analysis of the work, including the title, artist name, medium and other descriptive details, such as your first impressions of the work, while also evaluating how the context in which it is presented has impacted your experience of it
