Write a research paper on Lydell Grant.1. Research your case.
2. Prepare a THREE MINUTE presentation on the topic. No more. This will require you to
practice what you are going to say. You will be cut off at exactly 3 minutes.
3. Prepare ONE SLIDE to accompany your presentation. The slide may not have
animation. You may use any combination of pictures or text. You may have a full slide of
text or a full slide of pictures or a combination. The slide is not something that you can
read directly off of, it is to help the audience better understand your presentation.
4. Grading- NEED DETAILS TO BE IN THE ONE SLIDE
a. Background of the original case, including charges filed, and any issues in the original trial.
b. The review of the case by the Innocence Project, including why the case was accepted, issues found, appeals filed, and final outcome.
c. Your actual slide. This should be engaging and not have too much text.
The slide should serve as more of a background for you and not an outline.
d. Staying within the time limit and being a good presenter!
