Write a research paper that explains the four elements that make up the physical world.Please select agencies or institutions that serve older adults, for example, a nursing home, a day program, a senior center, Alzheimer’s association Geriatric Medicine – and other related programs
(do not feel limited to these choices). Locate two programming sites in your area that you can arrange to visit.
During your visits, observe and ask questions to be able to describe each program in your paper:
a) The physical environment of the program site, it’s funding and its staffing patterns
b) The background and training of staff
c) The daily schedule (service delivery)
d) The philosophy of service delivery (brochures often provide some of this information, but your conversation with staff may yield alternative views)
e) Your own reactions to what you observe.
Next, students should address:
f) Personal interviews with administrator, staff, clients, and community members
g) Community recognition and reputation of the program/agency
h) The pros and cons of the approaches of the program
i) Based on your growing understanding of the needs of older adults, how the program could be improved? Be specific in your recommendations.
