Fieldwork Assignment is due no later than December 4, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. Directions for Fieldwork Assignment: Field Experiences(15%) As you complete your 10 hours of classroom observation, you must reflect upon and write about what you have observed. You must relate it to what you are reading and learning about in the class. To do this effectively, you must cite the course materials (e.g., textbooks, articles, videos, ed TPA Handbooks) and include a reference for the materials cited in the References section of your fieldwork paper. Include how your observations will inform your own pedagogy in the future. You should also describe the classroom, the books, materials, teaching methods used, and the literacy activities you saw in practice (whenever possible, cite these materials and include references). Describe what you considered best practices and any new perspectives that helped you to expand as a teacher. As you write your fieldwork assignment, you will want to make sure to support all of your claims with evidence from your observations and/or information from course materials. You will also want to cite any texts, materials, or other sources you mention with APA-style in-text citations, and include a reference for each of the sources you mention in the References section of your paper. Your fieldwork paper should be 4-6 pages, double-spaced, typed-pages. In addition, please make sure that you complete the fieldwork log and paper. Then, attach the fieldwork assignment on Chalk & Wire. The following is the fieldwork log template for students to fill out.
