Write a research paper outlining the steps involved in using Python to develop a prescriptive model.Presentation Instruction- Use the attached data set and
solve any of the following three types of problems :Classification
/ Regression / Clustering.
You are basically going to make a predictive model using the data. Please make sure you are solving just one of these three types of
problems above, nothing else.
There are no shortages of solved machine learning /
predictive analytics projects on the web with data. For example, www.kaggle.com has
thousands of datasets and completed projects with python codes for you to get
inspired by. Feel free to explore several projects and checkout multiple
submissions by individuals from around the world for each projects with their
Python codes and outputs visible to you at no cost. You CANNOT,
obviously, plagiarize completed projects found via the web.
The final presentation will have max 10 powerpoint
presentation slides (you can have as many appendix slides as you need). These
are what we expect from you for this presentation:1.) You start the presentation with introduction slides
where you walk the audience through a description of your business
problem, talk about the background history, industry dynamics, describe your
data in plain english, with visualizations if needed.
2.) You must use at least 3 modeling techniques to solve
(i.e., build a predictive model) your problem.
3.) You will discuss the techniques you used in plain
english, their pros and cons, describe your raw data, talk about any data
processing that you may have done, visualize model outputs/inputs, discuss
results, compare accuracy measures of various models, and finally figure out
which model performed the best for your problem solution. Discuss your
findings and final recommendation as to the best modeling approach that you
deem fit for solving your particular business problem.
