In this week’s reading we learned about dividends. Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITS) are a great investment tool, a way to diversify risk, and usually pay rather good dividend percentages.

In your post this week, please choose a publicly traded REIT to discuss in your post and tell the class about it.

Please include information such as the name and symbol of the REIT, what industry sector is it in (ex. Retail, Hospitality, etc.),

how many properties are owned by the REIT, what did you find interesting about this particular REIT?

Also, you can go to the website of the REIT that you choose, go to the investors section, and you will be able to find public filings as well as annual reports.
