Write a paper on the structures of governance, ownership, and sociopolitical roles of corporations (for-profit, state-owned, etc.), on the one hand, versus those of coops, on the other. Consider the varying roles of the state (ownership, regulations, etc.). Use at least five course articles from the winter syllabus and the Can we do it ourselves? documentary. Make sure to discuss different theories of the firm, debates about the agency problem and CSR (8-10 pp. double spaced), and other topics from the winter semester).
