Graphic Designer(s) Exhibition Options
Familiarize yourself with some designers, studios, and design movements on this list using the links provided. Please feel free to look beyond this list. Choose three that capture your interest, post one found image that corresponds to each, along with a description and blurb of why you chose them. After you post, review some classmates’ posts and comment on at least one.

The later goal is to choose a designer(s), design studio or design movement you believe holds your attention enough to further research and plan a mock exhibition (Project 2) where you will be designing the promotional materials for, including brochure/catalog, lamp-pole banners, and instagram marketing. You could choose to curate the show around one designer, a design studio, or a theme. Here are some examples: Graphic Designers at the advent of the Apple Computer, or Women Graphic Designers of the 1980s, Graphic Design of the Bauhaus, Experimental Jetset: “turning language into objects,” Contemporary Graphic Design in Mexico, The Publication Design of Arem Duplesses, David Carson and the Surf aesthetic, Chicago Design History, Firebelly Design and The Grant for Good
