For your assignment:
Create a plan addressing these three areas to remedy the team’s challenges. In your plan include how each of the four primary functions of managers will contribute to remedying the team’s challenges.
After creating the plan, design your process for introducing this plan to your team.
Consider how you will address possible team member resistance using your knowledge of change management processes to build relationships within the team and support these changes and the team’s success.
Your plan should be 4-5 pages in length (not including title and reference pages) and include at least two references in addition to the textbook. Citations should conform to APA guidelines provided in the CSU Global Writing Center, which can be accessed via the course navigation panel.
For this assignment, refer back to Modules 6, 7, and 8 and the resources contained within those modules. As a reminder, the topics covered in those modules were employee behavior, motivation theories including Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Theory X, and Theory Y, and the Two- Factor theory (also known as Herzberg’s Motivation-Hygiene Theory and Dual-Factor Theory), Contingency Theories (Fiedler Model, Situational Leadership Theory, and Leader-Participation Model), organizational and management communication, and organizational control processes.
