After reading this week’s assigned readingon poverty (link below), think about your position within the U.S. stratification system and your experience with class and social mobility. Is it truly possible to change your class, from a cultural consideration? Yes, we can change our income level and class position, but what about being socialized within a particular socio-economic class? How does this impact any changes you might experience or expect to experience later in life?
