Behavior analysts have been conducting research on the effectiveness of behavioral management programs for many years. The purpose of this research is to provide evidence-based data to ensure the techniques used with clients are as effective as possible and that change is achieved, maintained, and generalized. Evidence-based research is useful because the data has been measured using scientific principles to ensure accuracy of the information.
For this Discussion, you will examine the factors to evaluate when determining the effectiveness of a behavioral program. In addition, you will explore how paraprofessionals can contribute to the collection of data used in measuring effectiveness.
ASSIGNMENT:
what factors you would need to consider when evaluating the effectiveness of a behavioral program and why? What documentation might be important to demonstrate effectiveness of a behavioral program?
