Research Paper Guidelines for Draft
Instructions:
write a research paper 6 to 8 pages in length in APA format, using the following guidelines.
Choose one of the two topics listed (do not change the topic, use the topic as stated):
Bullying in Nursing Education- topic
Conduct a review of the literature and cite the research appropriately to cover the following areas:
What are the key issues defining this topic?
List the clinical question in the PICO format
Address the following by summarizing at least 2-3 research studies from your review of literature.
Include elements such as study type, study design, sample size, data collection methods and study results.
How does the issue impact the nursing profession?
How does this topic impact patient care?
How are you impacted by this issue, as a nurse?
The use of first person (I, me) is appropriate in this section).
Did the review of literature identify any solutions to the issue?
Which of the proposed solution(s) do you support?
What were the outcomes?
Literature Review:
Choose no more than three (3) journal articles from the list provided.
Conduct a review of literature using the CSUDH online library system for at least three
(3) additional journal articles..
There needs to be a minimum of 6 scholarly resources used for the paper.
References need to be current, peer-reviewed articles from professional journals (<5yrs.). Citations throughout the paper demonstrate support for pertinent information, and main points of focus for each topic/section of the paper. Writing Mechanics: The paper must be 6 - 8 pages, not including the title page and the reference page APA 7th edition is required. See attached
