1. Why do you think we as members of society are addicted to cellphones? When cellphones were initially created, what was their purpose? How did our society shift from this original intent, to where we are now with cellphone usage? As members of society, how can we hold ourselves and others accountable for their cellphone usage and addiction for some? Why do you believe, individuals regardless of age, find it difficult to separate life from a cellphone? What are some things that have declined in our lives as a result of cellphone addiction? (Consider economic, social, physical, and emotional factors when answering this question)
2. In your opinion, why is racism still a prevalent ideology in the United States? What are some ways racism is still encouraged and taught within our society and households across the United States? Despite the events and acts of racism that has taken place within the last 5 years within our country; why has those who participated in this act not held to the fullest accountability that we know based on our system of law and order and justice?
3. Why do you believe in a society where women are a significant percentage in contributors (income, professional, taxes etc), why is the culture of misogyny at an all time high? Why do you believe our society still endorses and turns a “blind eye” to acts of misogyny? In our society where law and order is the “ultimate” law, why are individuals who commit acts of harm/crime against women not held and charged accordingly? How are young children taught about the misogynist culture and may or may not adhere to this belief system?
