A. On page 121 of your text, view Artemisia Gentileschi’s Judith Beheading Holofernes, c. 1612. Answer the following in essay form using 75 – 100 words.
1. What is the content of this painting? Explain the story of Judith and Holofernes. (You might have to google to find this content.)
2. What does this picture teach us in regard to morality? Is what Judith is doing morally right? Why or why not?
3. Explain the context of the author in regards to this picture. Who is she? Why does she choose this subject matter? How does this information about this authoress change the way you view this painting?

B. Write a love song – at least the words to your love song. You may write your own music, or use someone else’s musical score, but give them credit (Rolling Stones, “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction”). Explain what kind of love you are extolling and who this song is dedicated to and why.

C. What music, poetry, sculpture, paintings, architecture, dance, theatre, or cinema art form would you like to have performed or viewed at your funeral to express your life? Explain in detail why you have chosen the various pieces to affirm your life. How will these arts choices communicate you?
