Write a paper reflecting on the research design and proposal writing process.
Your reflection should address the following:
General reflections (you don’t have to address all of these prompts, and you are not limited to these topics)
How did your understanding of your own topic change/evolve over the course of the quarter?
Do/How do you see the process of research differently after completing your proposal?
Reflect on the process of turning general questions/curiosity about a topic into a research design
Are you relying on one method or several? How do these fit together?
Is your research more inductive or deductive? Descriiptive, exploratory, or explanatory? Why did you choose whichever approach applies to your project?
How do your methods align with your research question(s)?
At least one specific example of a “road not taken” – what is one concept, method, or methodological approach that you would consider changing or adding to your project, and how would that change position your research differently in terms of contributing to the state of knowledge about your topic?
