Select and download two scholarly articles for use when completing a critical analysis.

Read through each article one time. Then, on the second reading, analyze the writing using the questions posed on the template. For this exercise, it may be beneficial to print out the selected articles to write notes in the margins as well as highlight, circle, or graphically indicate key areas (for example, the purpose of the article, author’s key question, etc.). It can be highly beneficial to actually number your findings in the article; for example, in keeping with the numbers on the template, correlate #1 to the main purpose found in the article, #2 to the key question the author is addressing in the article, and so forth.
Complete one template for each selected article, for a total of two completed templates.
Navigate to the discussion topic and respond to the following discussion prompts:
Article Selection. Name the Boolean terms you used for the article search. Explain how the two selected articles for this assignment will serve as a literature review in support for your research project.
New Learning. Describe what new learning took place as part of the textbook reading for Workshop Three and/or the reading and analysis of the scholarly articles.
Relevant Information and a Biblical Perspective. Based on the devotional reading and other scriiptures, what argument could be made that integration of relevant information, as well as a biblical perspective (that is, principles and so forth), help to improve decision making? Support your argument with Scripture and an academic resource.
