The 18th Century saw great social and political change in many parts of the world. Enlightenment theories were tied to revolutions in Europe, the Americas and other parts of the world. For your discussion, choose an art work or a body of artworks that are connected to a political ideology of the time. This could be how some Neo-Classical works represented patriotism or how Romanticism could express emotional realities of peoples lives.
