Times New Roman, 12 point font, 2 line spacing, first page heading, page header
Write in present tense, active voice, and 3rd person NO ” I, you ,we, me, us”
Quotes must be incorporated correctly. See side board for accurate citation.
Incorrect: “Why you are one of my babies.”
Incorrect: The Grandmother said, “Why you are one of my babies.”
Correct: The Grandmother realizes that she needs grace like The Misfit and declares that he “[is] one of [her] babies” before he brutally murders her (O’Connor 543).
Choose a definite position. There is no in-between. This will be your claim.
