For your post: Select one of the discussion leader’s presentations (their first post) and view that presentation. After reflecting on the presentation, choose an idea that comes to you from that presentation and learn more about it, through research articles, news articles, videos, or professional podcasts. Then write up your post in your own 300+ words (no quotes!), continuing to educate your classmates on the topic. Submit your post in the thread the discussion leader has started, not in a separate thread. This will keep threads organized by topic, so each discussion leader can facilitate their thread. Be sure to build on what the class has already learned from assigned materials. Use the Knowns and Unknowns matrix to take your post beyond simple sharing of facts (that’s the Known Knowns). Good critical thinking will also ask questions, explore new territory, and offer possibilities using your intuition. Include a url for your source, or embed it in your post if it’s a video or podcast. Additionally, embedded images that add to your classmates’ understanding are always encouraged!
