For this project you will cover the disorders; sickle –cell Anemia and Graves Disease to research and report on. Write a short paper that covers the topic information listed below. You should address the following areas for your project; Descriiption of disease; include a brief history (onset, symptoms, treatments), Is it acquired or inherited (explain how), Does the disease target any specific ethnicity or sex (if so why), How does the disease affect the quality of life, What is the current research being done on your disease and what is the relevance of that. This project will require you to use a variety of scientific journals, articles, books, websites, and accredited sources, so be sure that you have enough information gathered BEFORE you begin writing. Remember your target audience is your fellow student so write in a manner that captures their interest while still demonstrating a clear knowledge of the material. This should be specific and concise not something that is vague and could relate to just any disease.
