The legal environment of social work practice.

Words: 464
Pages: 2
Subject: Uncategorized

Regehr et al identify current issues related to special situations: international adoptions, the live-in caregiver program, mail order brides, sex-trade workers, and intimate partner violence. In the discussion forum, reflect on the legal vulnerabilities that may arise in each of these situations. How can social workers help address the needs for information? Are there specific law reforms that may help decrease the vulnerabilities?

Group members may introduce new topics if discussion on the above noted issues is exhausted.
