Lang and Comp argumentative essay
Michael ignatieff, professed of the practice of Human Rights Policy at Harvard University, made the following observation.
“ To belong is to understand the tactic codes of the people you live with” -Blood and Belonging
consider how unspoken rules help to define group identity. Write an essay that argues your position on the relationship between unspoken rules and belonging.
In the response do the following:
Respond to the prompt with a thesis that presents a defensible position.
Provide evidence to support your line of reasoning.
Explain how the evidence supports your line of reasoning.
Use appropriate grammar and punctuation in communicating your argument.
Evidence should not be cited but come from prior knowledge and observation.
Possible body paragraph topics include age, religion, political beliefs, being a part of overlapping/contradicting groups, culture, etc.
