Write an essay with 3-4 references and use in-text citations on applying your own Sociological Imagination. Use the week-by-week topics of the syllabus to make your selection for your sociological analysis. I am purposefully leaving the final open ended for students to create their own sociological analysis. In your essay, begin by explaining the Sociological Imagination by C. Wright Mills, and then use the concept as a way to analyze your own “personal trouble” as a larger structural “public concern.” Then, discuss both the micro-level and macro-level of the topic and the groups of people involved and/or affected.
