You are applying your knowledge of research design and methods in your reflection of how to best study a personality theory. Although actually coming up with a specific theory is optional in your post, you are welcome to use a fictitious theory as an example (don’t worry; your post won’t be graded on how good or bad your theory is). Write a discussion post that addresses the importance of using scientific methods in personality research. Describe a strong design that tests a personality theory (including what makes it strong) and assessment techniques that would be used in that study.
