Begin working on this activity independently, then join our Zoom meeting at 12.30 pm. In this activity, you will be creating and submitting two (2) concept maps, based on the immune response components that are activated in two different types of infections: 1. Infection with an intracellular pathogen (for example: a virus that infects the cells of the respiratory mucosa) https://fex.net/s/k3vsyas 2. Infection with an extracellular pathogen (for example: a bacterium that initially causes a skin infection, but later spreads to other parts of the body via bloodstream) For each concept map, you will identify at least five (5) components of the immune system (both innate and adaptive) that are activated sequentially. Between the two concept maps, some will be unique, and some will overlap. I am providing a template example Download template example. However, you will be modifying it based on the information that you decide to include. Add/subtract as many rectangles as you want. Input text. Use bullet points to list important information about each immune component.
