Project Summary and Project Outcome The project should involve cancer information management knowledge and/or skills. It should also be a project that will benefit the clinical practice agency. Suggested activities for projects include, but are not limited to the following: Develop a performance improvement plan for the department or the facility. Prepare a report of the workflow within the department to identify gaps and overlaps. Analyze employee performance data in relation to departmental/institutional performance standards. Given an administrative problem of current relevance to the cancer registry, design a plan to find a solution, gather data, analyze results, and propose a suitable solution(s). Prepare a memorandum to the Clinical Site Supervisor detailing the problem, methodology, conclusions and recommendations. Develop your plan and schedule your project with the guidance and direction of the Clinical Site Supervisor, as appropriate. Submit a professionally-presented, written report of your project including project objectives, activities, conclusions, and recommendations.
