This activity is optional but worth 50 bonus points towards your Exam 3/Final grade (Webcourses indicates it is out of zero points, but that is only an artifact designed to ensure no one who chooses not to do the assignment is penalized). The goal of the assignment is to help you to boost your Exam 3/Final grade in advance while also firming your grasp of the material in Chapters 8, 9, 11, 12, and 1 of the textbook and the modules (9, 10, 11, 12, & 13) which correspond with each chapter. The assignment will compel you to take the “instructor’s view” on the material. Combining both the “instructor’s view” and “student’s view” in approaching the material should help you to grasp the material better and improve your performance in the upcoming exam.

Create a total of 25 multiple choice questions of your own that must meet each of the following 9 requirements.

Each question must include a real or hypothetical scenario/situation. Questions that are not scenario/situation-based will not receive any credit.
Each chapter must have at least three questions which are in problem-solution format (i.e., the scenario/situation within the question should involve an organizational communication problem/need for which the solution is provided among the answer options). Please, make sure to highlight each of the questions that fulfill this requirement for each chapter (e.g., mark them with the label “Problem-Solution Question in bold font).
Each chapter must have at least two questions involving application of different concepts to any two of the articles (i.e., case study, case-in-point, spotlight on scholarship) within the chapter). Please, make sure to highlight the article and concepts you are engaging.
Each question must test a different concept from the chapter.
Each chapter must have at least 5 questions represented.
True/False (T/F) questions, fill-in-the-blank questions, and questions that do not explicitly involve scenarios/situations are not acceptable. Although some of the questions on the exam will be T/F, they are not permitted for this assignment because the process of creating them is not as productive as the one for creating a multiple-choice scenario/situation-based questions.
For each question, make sure to provide the answer by marking or coding it in green.
For each question, your work must be presented strictly in the following format:
Chapter: ________

Concept being tested: __________

Question and alternative options including the correct answer and at least 2 detractors (i.e., incorrect answers): ____________

Originality of Work & Turnitin
***Use the chapter quiz questions to inspire your work, but the questions that you submit must be original. Turnitin, a tool that measures and reports the similarity between your work and material from external sources, has been activated for this assignment. Except the names of concepts, keywords, theories, make sure that none of your questions includes three or more consecutive words that Turnitin reports as similar to material in external sources. Generally, your submission should not exceed a 20% similarity index as reported by Turnitin.com. You can resubmit your work as many times as you want, before the deadline, till you reach the maximum 20% similarity index allowed. If the names, concepts, keywords, and theories constitute most of a similarity index above 20%, include a statement to your professor about it, for a waiver to be granted. Only your final submission will be grExplain why you Avoid copying and pasting questions or content from an external source to complete your work because it will be easily identified by Turnitin and treated as cheating or fraud.

*** Work that is submitted outside the above format may not be graded and could be subject to lateness penalties.
