In this assignment, you will research and create a small 5-8 slide presentation that provides an overview of the role/job function, importance of the function, and its future demand. Begin by selecting a job role that interests you then, learn as much as you can about the role. Some suggested ideas for information you may highlight in your presentation include:
Number of job postings on LinkedIn for the role
Market forecast on demand for the role
Survey information of employer’s related to the role
Average salary for the role (potentially compared to other professions)
Number of mentions in academic papers, in LinkedIn, in Twitter, etc.
Key skills required for role (potentially from survey data, job postings, etc.)
The above is not a list of required data points, but suggestions. You are expected to go beyond these and think of other data points and use these data points to provide an analysis of the role and future expectations.
