Specifications and Parameters:
Submit a Company Overview and Proposal that includes the following information:
1. Introduction: Choose what type of consulting firm you are running, give it a name, and give names for the key team members (CFO, VP of Human Resources, VP of the Consulting Team, etc.)
2. Create an organizational mission statement. (How to Write a
Mission Statement)
3. Create 3-5 objectives for the company. Ensure they are SMART.
(Smart Goals)
4. Note who should be involved in the project and the role they would play.
5. Create a high-level phase gate approach to this project.
1. Create a project proposal (review page 48- Figure 2.5A) for this project. Use the template in Figure 2.5A to complete.
2. Create a Risk analysis (review page 49- Figure 2.5B) for this project. Use the template in Figure 2.5B on page 49 to complete.
6. Discuss the selection criteria for this project.
7. Discuss potential selection models and pick one. Explain why it was selected.
8. Conclusion: Discuss the type of project organizational structure (from chapter 3) that should be used to ensure this project would be successful. Create the matrix and note which departments should be involved for the best outcome. Reflect on the traits of organizational culture that would be required to be successful and reflect on how you’d engage senior leadership.
