This project is two parts: 8-page Word Document(the page do not include the cover page and reference page).
Directions: Select a publicly traded US company. Companies in the Fortune 500 are strongly suggested. Research the top management of the organization and detail the strategies that they advocated to help grow the company. Examine the critical issues that the organization faced, and detail the strategies employed to mitigate them. All top managers are not successful. If the company you choose employed strategies that failed, detail the failure analyze why it failed, and what may have been done to foster success.
Companies that are not approved for this research project are Nike, Disney, Starbucks, and Adidas.
This assignment project is worth a total of 200 points. The grading rubric for this assignment can be found on Canvas. All assignments are due as noted on Canvas. Late submissions will not be accepted. An online similarity rate of less than 25% is required on all assignments in this course.

SWOT analysis
The following questions should be addressed:
Who is/are the Top Leader(s) of the company, and under what circumstances did they become the leader?
What issues did they face?
What are the significant strengths of the company?
In what ways did Planning, Organizing, Leading, & Controlling contribute to the company’s success (or failure)?
What was the most important thing leading to that success (or failure)?
What do you see as major challenges facing this company in the next five years?
What are your conclusions about the management based on your research?
If this is a faith-based company, discuss how their faith sets them apart. If not a faith-based company, how would infusing a Christian faith change the company?
Written report requirements:
The writing assignment must consist of a minimum of 8 pages, which includes a cover page, an executive summary, and a references page. Diagrams and charts are encouraged (ex. Org charts, financials, stock performance, etc.) but will not be counted towards the page count of the paper.
