Autoethnography is an approach to research and writing that seeks to describe and systemically analyze personal experience in order to understand cultural experience. This approachh challenges canonical ways of doing research and representing others and treats research as a political, socially-just and socially-conscious act. A researcher uses tenets of autobiography and ethnography to do and write autoethnogra- phy. Thus, as a method, autoethnography is both process and product. The paper must include Introduction, Background (abstract), Research Design, Data Analysis (incl. Journal Entries I will supply), Observations, Limitations of the Research/Barriers, Conclusions, Personal Reflections/Insights, References/Bibliography, just like a research paper. needs to be about the Possible impact of MBSR practice on youth in school settings / what a possible integration system could look like and needs to be written in first person. Include example of trying the mindfulness practice with preschool children (hard for them to focus but it calmed them down). You can really make up what you want about the teaching and I’ll fix anything if need be. Needs to incorporate key words like mindfulness, gratefulness, acceptance and needs to include how your nervous system works (flight or fight, how it slows down different systems and functions). Also include how pleasant vs unpleasant emotions feel in the body. Needs to include references and studies (I provided 4 in one of the files). In the files, you’ll find the Rubric, my Outline, My journals (I’m really not sure how these are supposed to be added so If you can’t figure it out it’s okay) examples of other autoethnography’s we were given, and an informative presentation. Also, be aware that the essay is run through both plagarism and chatgpt detection software. It’s finals and I’m very stressed, please help me.
