Need two pieces of evidence minimum for each body paragraph and one minimum for counter claim. Evidence must be quoted. It does not matter if it is paraphrased or direct. For the final draft, if you do not put quotation marks around evidence from a source (anything that did not come out of your head) then it will not be counted as evidence. Evidence needs to be intertwined in the paragraphs. You should never have evidence to start or end a paragraph.Erica Grundei, Nov 6 at 9:04amAfter each piece of evidence, you must have double the length of the evidence as analysis. Analysis is your own words, explaining how the evidence supports your point. When I say double, I mean if you have one sentence of evidence, then you should have two sentences of analysis. Two sentences of evidence would equal four sentences of analysis. Go more in depth with your analysis.Erica Grundei, Nov 6 at 11:34amPerfect MLA Formatting for essay. Review MLA In-Text Citations. Thesis statement needs reasons to be concise (no more than 3 words each) and parallel (same number of words). You are close with 4 each.Erica Grundei, Nov 7 at 9:23pmPaper needs to be organized by following the reasons from thesis statement.Erica Grundei, Nov 8 at 8:55amNeed at least two transitional words/phrases in every paragraph. The word choice and sentence start are redundant/not up to college-level.Erica Grundei, Nov 8 at 7:52pmDo a strong grammatical run-through. There are multiple errors throughout the essay. Some errors you may find are: run-on sentences, fragments, comma splices, capitalization errors, contractions, questions, exclamation marks, and using first/second person. Not all of these errors apply to your essay but take the time to really consider each sentence. Remember that as long as they are not consistent errors, it is all good. Perfection is unnecessary.Erica Grundei, Nov 8 at 8:10pm
