For the first part of this assignment, you will choose a character whose problems or needs can be addressed by a counseling theory, you must provide the following:
A brief description of the character from a book, TV, or movie, who displays some counseling needs. The character should be familiar enough to you to make it possible to identify the relevant background of his or her problem, the history of the problem and efforts to address it, or challenges in resolving the problem. (If you are currently working or have worked in an environment where you have interacted with individuals with counseling needs, you can use an actual person for this assignment. However, you cant use a friend or family member.
A statement(s) of the characters problem(s) in general, non-clinical terms.
