Instructions:
Define and provide examples of stimulus control. Define and provide examples of the prompt levels.
After reading the assigned articles develop a training video aimed at training a new staff member or fellow teacher on the prompt hierarchy. The training video should be approximately 5-10 minutes in length and needs to highlight the 6 main types of prompting. You will be responsible for conducting your own research but can use the articles listed below as resources. In addition, the training video should include information on what a prompt is, why prompts are important, and then an example of each of the main types of prompts needs to be demonstrated or sufficiently explained. In addition, each video should include at least one visual aid. This can be an inserted PowerPoint slide, a wipe board or chalkboard used live in the video, or a piece of paper held up during the video segment. Remember that you want to make the video in layman’s terms because this would be used to train new staff on how to effectively prompt. Please include a minimum of 3 references either in the video or in a separate attached document. See the rubric for further information. See the attached document for comprehensive instructions. See attached document.
