Final Culminating Project
Complete your Final Culminating Project, by 11:59 p.m. PT Sunday of Week 9.
For your Final Culminating Project, worth 100 points, you will create a PowerPoint presentation to illustrate the practicum work you have completed addressing each of the six Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) skills. The PPT should contain a minimum of 12 slides, excluding the title and reference slides. It should contain voiceover to explain each slide as together they illustrate applied knowledge and skills demonstrated during the completion of your practicum. (I will do the voiceover)
The six CAEP skills are listed below.
Each of these must be addressed in your Culminating Project by providing specific examples of activities you completed during your practicum that illustrate:
Applications of data literacy.
Use of research and understanding of qualitative, quantitative and/or mixed methods research methodologies.
Employment of data analysis and evidence to develop supportive school environments.
Leading and/or participating in collaborative activities with others such as peers, colleagues, teachers, administrators, community organizations, and parents.
Supporting appropriate applications of technology for your field of specialization
Application of professional dispositions, laws and policies, codes of ethics and professional standards appropriate to your field of specialization.
