Rules for digital communication

Email Etiquette (2 paragraph)
Purpose: Professional communication is necessary in the workplace. It establishes dependability, along with professionalism and maturity. While colloquial language and informal speech is acceptable in certain communications (friends, family, etc.) and with different communication forms (text, social media posts, etc.), an email to a boss, co-worker, or company must follow professional etiquette.
Assignment: Compose an e-mail, using your Goodwin e-mail account, to your CAP 115 professor. The e-mail should focus on the tips you learned after reading the E-mail Etiquette article. Include the requirements below for full credit.
SUBJECT: CAP 115 Email Homework Assignment
TOPIC: Explain two elements that you learned from the readings regarding e-mail and e-mail etiquette. Also, explain why the two elements of information you chose are interesting and/or important.
LENGTH: Include a greeting, two paragraphs (approximately 5 sentences each) and a closing.
PROPER EMAIL FORMAT:
All text is left aligned (nothing is indented).
Insert blank lines after greeting, each paragraph, and the closing.

Reflection writing (2 paragraph each)
Now that we have explored Netiquette, you get a chance to have a say in what you think is most important when it comes to the way we should act online. In a paragraph or two, create a list of Top 3 rules for digital communication (think of it as your very own 3 Commandments of Digital Communication) AND include WHY you feel strongly about these “rules.”
Then discuss briefly how we can hold others (and ourselves) accountable for these rules (you can be broad and general in scope).
If you choose to quote or reference any outside source, please do your best to include the proper APA citations (both in-text and Reference page).
