Develop an economic partnership between Qatar and a developing country.The experiences of the past few years has presented Qatar with numerous challenges around international trade, the overall economy, the global political stage, and its social development. Challenges in these spheres also present significant opportunities for leadership and change. Leadership in a global economy was a theme in both courses in the second module. Professor Olofsgard discussed the recent global trade regime and how it is currently under pressure, while Professor Desai focused on the processes and challenges of international development. Both areas offer significant possibilities for Qatar, as a small state with global ambitions, to emerge as an important player in the areas of global trade and development. Please write a reflection paper to develop an economic partnership between Qatar and a developing country. That partnership should include a regional trade agreement (RTA) as well as a country-assistance strategy by which Qatar will provide development financing to assist that country with their most urgent economic needs.
