Epidemiology & mode of transmission: Explain interrelationships of host, agent, and environment causing the diseases related to this gas (what diseases are as the result of being exposed to this gas); this gas leads to what types of respiratory diseases, what age group, ethnic group, etc. does it affect most often? What is the cost in terms of dollars and human lives?
Pathology: Explain the physiological processes that are disrupted by this irritant gas. This section should involve changes to the patient’s anatomy and physiology, temporary as well as permanent changes to the airways/lungs/body.
Treatment: Explain what’s available in terms of supportive care, prevention, pharmaceuticals, diet, exercise, etc.
Conclusion: Wrap up the main points of your paper in a paragraph. Revisit the critical elements and make a summary statement about the impact of this gas on the US/worldwide.
