Appendix – The following information should be placed in the appendix and is used to help you prepare for what is required of assignment 2. It involves gathering, analyzing and organizing the following information:
obtain the last 3 years of financial statements for your firm AND the DIRECT competitors (those in the same Strategic Group). Important: If financial statements are not available for your firm, you should select another firm in your industry for which the financial statements are available
You should provide one Appendix: 1. Normalized Income and Expense Statement for your firm AND the direct competitors for each of last 3 years. How to NORMALIZE the data (i.e., convert each line item into a percentage of total revenues). For instance, operating expense/revenue or cost of good sold/revenue. Note: Excel will do this quickly
