There is a lot of conflicting information. As a social worker you should be informed of the laws and uses related to marijuana. You should be aware of the tenets of a biblical worldview and other professional literature related to the topic. Researching and discussing this topic can enhance engagement and advance a collaborative learning experience.
You will focus on the medicinal uses of marijuana and discuss the pros/cons with at least two of the medical/mental health diagnoses marijuana is prescribed to treat (cancer, epilepsy, arthritis, Parkinson’s to name a few).
