part 1- Assignment 2.2: Course Project Part 1: Front-end Analysis
This assignment supports the following lesson objectives:
Conduct a performance analysis for an instructional project.
Write instructional goals for an instructional project.
Conduct a goal analysis for an instructional project.
Conduct a task analysis for an instructional project.
Conduct an audience analysis for an instructional project. Deliverables
Two deliverables are required for this assignment:
A two-page paper (12-point font) containing a brief description of how you would design each type of analysis for this project.
A two-page (12-point font) analysis report for one type of front-end analysis.
Activity Details
Perform the following tasks:
Step 1: Select an instructional project.
Determine the subject matter for an instructional project that will serve as your course project.
Guidelines for selecting your project can include:
Adequate subject matter content is available to build one entire learning module.
Subject matter is of interest to you.
Subject matter lends itself well to multimedia elements (ie, choose something that you can use graphics, video, animation, etc. to build into the instructional module).
Subject matter can be broken down into a manageable learning unit.
Step 2: Determine how you would perform each type of front-end analysis for your chosen instructional project.
Using your textbooks, periodicals, and the internet as resources, find information about conducting and reporting these types of front-end analyses:
Performance analysis
Instructional goal writing
Goal analysis
Task analysis
Audience analysis
Think about each of these analyses in relation to the subject matter chosen for your project in Step 1.
Step 3: Write a report summarizing your analysis approach.
Using a word processor (like Microsoft Word), write a two-page paper documenting how you would approach each type of front-end analysis for your instructional content. Spend about a half-page on each type of analysis, and for each type of analysis, include the following:
The purpose of the analysis
The method for conducting the analysis
A description of any instruments to be used for the analysis
Types of findings to include in the analysis report
Step 4: Choose one of the analyses from the list in Step 2.
Of the analyses types listed in Step 2, choose one that you will complete for your chosen instructional project. Ensure that you have chosen an analysis type that you can complete and report on in the given time for this assignment.
Step 5: Conduct the analysis.
For the analysis type chosen in Step 4, conduct the analysis and document your results.
Step 6: Write an analysis report.
Once your analysis is complete, document your findings in a two-page analysis report. Use your textbook or other resources found on the web for an appropriate analysis report template.

part 2: Assignment 3.2: Course Project Part 2: Objectives and Assessments

Activity Details
Perform the following tasks:
Step 1: Write learning objectives for your instructional project.
Based on the instructional project chosen in Part 1 of the Course Project, write learning objectives for your instructional module.
Consider the following as you construct your objectives:
Consider what levels of objectives (course, module, etc) are necessary for your project.
Review the analysis findings from Part I of the Course Project, and ensure that these findings are represented in the objectives that you create.
Use the multiple texts for this course as well as other resources to find guidelines on how to write sound learning objectives.
Pay close attention to the lead-in verbs of your objectives. Ensure that these verbs place the desired outcome at the appropriate Bloom’s Level.
Step 2: Create an assignment for each learning objective.
For each learning objective created in Step 1, create an assessment that adequately determines if that objective has been met. For each assessment, include the following:
Assignment title.
Objectives that the assessment supports.
An overview of the assignment, including the assignment type.
The deliverables of the assignment.
The step-by-step instructions of the assignment.
Note, you can use this assignment sheet or your other class assignments as a template for your assessments.

Consider the following as you construct your instructional strategy:
How will your instruction be delivered (what delivery platform will be used)?
How will the content be sequenced and structured?
What learning components will be included in the instruction?
How will students be grouped during instruction?
How will the lessons be structured?
What media will be used to deliver the instruction?

Activity Details
Perform the following tasks:
Step 1: Write an evaluation strategy for your instructional project.
Based on the instructional project chosen in Part 1 of the Course Project, write a two-page evaluation strategy for your instructional module.
Consider the following as you construct your evaluation strategy:
What is the purpose of evaluation for your instructional project?
What levels of evaluation will be addressed? Provide a rationale for including and not including certain evaluation levels in your strategy.
What types of instruments will you provide for your evaluation?
When will the evaluation be conducted?
Who will participate in the evaluation?
How will the results be documented and communicated?

part 5:
Assignment 6.1: Delivery Modes for Instruction
This assignment supports the following lesson objectives:
Differentiate between the delivery modes of instruction.
Compare traditional instruction to online instruction.
Define blended instruction.
Assignment Overview
This research assignment explores the various delivery modes of instruction.
Deliverables

Activity Details
Perform the following tasks:
Step 1: Research the various delivery modes of instruction.
Use the internet, your textbooks, periodicals, and other resources to research the various platforms used to deliver instruction. Make sure to include the following in your research:
What are the various modes of instruction today? How are they different than in the past? How do you think they will change in the future? What is considered “traditional” instruction?
For each of the delivery modes identified above, define each and describe when and how they are used, and their advantages and disadvantages. Include your opinion on the type of student and instructional setting that this mode is most effective for.
Define blended instruction and discuss how it is relevant in selecting media.
Step 2: Write a two-page paper on your findings.
