PROJECT PROPOSAL: Your proposal will consist of one to two pages noting your selected topic, a statement of the problem, at least five scholarly articles you will read for your literature review, how you intend to learn more about the problem and possible solutions, and how it addresses/is related to RED. The project is intended to add to your understanding (and the class’s) of some aspect of RED in the criminal justice system.
Clearly label each section as follows:
1. Topic and affected population.
2. Statement of the problem: Describe what it is you intend to explore for your term project and why it matters. Be impactful; SELL me on the importance of focusing on this particular area to dealing with RED.
3. List five scholarly articles that you will read for the literature review (one may also double as your article for the analysis of research assignment). List in the format you will use for your reference section.
4. Proposed methods: How will you learn more about this subject (both the problem and solutions)? What research will you do such as survey, interview(s), data analysis, content analysis, observation?
