Essay – Create an outline for a professional development session about “Classroom Strategies for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder” (Elementary School level). In the outline of 350-525 words include Write a 350- to 525-word outline for the session that includes the following: Vision statement that integrates your vision of student learning with the school’s (see dunlap vision attached), Session objectives that align to the specific learning needs identified in the topic, address each of the instruction and assessment in relation to the topic, Additional materials to be accessed during the session, such as: Applicable curriculum standards, Various assessment types currently used, Assessment data collected, Student achievement and demographic data, Instructional content related to the preselected instruction and assessment areas, and Research-based activities for attendees that support the topic. Presentation – Create an 8-10 slide presentation with notes on the topic of “Classroom Strategies for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders” with the audience of Elementary teachers in mind.
