Once you’ve watched both videos, answer the questions below. In your response, use at least one of the above videos as a source, along with your textbook and at least one additional source that you found on your own.
As a reminder, citing YouTube videos in APA style is a bit different. Your intext citation should be formatted as:
(Username, year, timestamp).
As an example, an intext citation for the first video might look something like:
(Naked Science, 2015, 25:30).
Meanwhile, for the second video, as the uploader’s username is (presumably) her legal name, an intext citation without a timestamp would be formatted as:
(Byers, 2012).
Within your response, answer the following prompts, all with proper APA-style citations where needed:
1. First, briefly reflect on Chapter 2, covering prenatal development. Is there anything you found particularly interesting, or alternatively, anything you were confused by and need clarified?
2. Using the textbook, define what a teratogen is. Pick 2 teratogens (such as lead, alcohol, measles, etc.) and using the textbook and outside sources, explain how each teratogen impacts the fetus and later child in two out of the three domains of development (physically, cognitively, & socioemotionally).
3. Imagine you have a friend who is currently pregnant. Relying on the above videos, the textbook, and outside sources, what are 3 specific pieces of advice you might give them?
