Apache Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) is a free, open-source implementation of a distributed file system as described by the Google File System white paper. In addition to the reference implementation maintained by the Apache Software Foundation, there are many other free and commercial implementations of Hadoop offered by companies such as MapR Technologies, Cloudera, Hortonworks, Wandisco, and several others.
Research the strengths and weaknesses of some of the various Hadoop distributions. In the context of your own experience, discuss which is the strongest distribution. In other words, if you were implementing one of these distributions in your workplace, school, or organization, which one would best suit your needs and why. (Min. 2 pages in Word)
