Assignment #2: (Individual) Isms and The Digital Divide
The Assignment: Select one Ism and relate it to the concept of the Digital Divide that you
feel connected to (personal history, issue, concern, strong feelings, a situation or incident). Note:
you do not have to select one of isms from the list above as you may come up with your own
ism which is perfectly fine.
Write/Create a 2-3 page double-spaced paper that addresses these items fully, completely and
thoughtfully writing in paragraph style – as in you will end up with 5 paragraphs!
a) Which Ism category/grouping did you pick and why?
b) Describe the Digital Divide in your own words
c) Find/Research some statistics or facts about the ism as it relates to the Digital Divide
let alone showcased during the 2020+ lingering COVID-19 global pandemic event
d) What impact does this have in the business world if this embraced or condoned?
e) Reflect on what you found, feel and/or think about it or the situation

(2) MUST be done with word processing technology as hand-written assignments will not be
accepted.
