Research what is needed to develop a strategic plan for a portfolio of health information technology projects. What systems must be considered when implementing a new EHR. What must be considered with legacy systems? Discuss the process of organizational needs assessment, risk assessment, and how the organization can identify subject matter experts from the staff that is needed on the project management team. Formulate an IT strategic plan that addresses the needs of this organization.
