Produce a creative response to a class reading of your choice. Demonstrate your ability to interact with the highlighted text in an imaginative manner. The medium and style are of your own choosing. (You may paint a picture, take a photograph, create a sculpture, write a poem or short story, act out a scene from a play, sing or play a piece of music, etc.) The work may be realistic or abstract. A key requirement is that whatever you choose to submit must never have been submitted for a grade in any other course, including Western Thought & Culture (HUM 103). Another important consideration is that our class is in an online format. You are responsible to submit evidence of the artistic work as an email attachment that I am capable of opening. In addition, please prepare a two-page reflection paper (approximately 600-700 words) clarifying the link between your creative response and a literary work we studied during the session. What message does it convey? Why did you select this form to express your desired theme? What are the moral ramifications and the spiritual implications of your creation? This essay must accompany your artwork in Microsoft Word.
